A clear basis for use.

These terms apply to Prepare for, operated by Genis Labs Pty Ltd, Australia. Last updated 30 October 2026.

Purpose of the service

Prepare for provides general household continuity planning, offline guidance and source-linked incident information. It is not an emergency response service. Follow the issuing local authority and contact emergency services when immediate assistance is needed.

Incident information and delivery

Feeds can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. Notification delivery depends on external networks, platform settings and device conditions. A coarse regional match can include nearby areas outside an incident's precise boundary. Offline material reflects its saved version. We cannot promise that every incident is detected or every notification is delivered.

Using guides and maps

Adapt general planning material to your household, accessibility needs and local conditions. Consult qualified professionals where medical, electrical or other specialist judgment is needed. Regional reference maps do not provide street-level evacuation routing or current closure information. Check official instructions before acting.

Your account and information

Keep your devices and account access secure. You control the information entered into notes and inventory. Use the service lawfully and do not submit harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the service or emergency operations. Our privacy notice describes how information is handled.

Availability and changes

Features and information sources can change as the service develops. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or misuse. You can stop using the app and delete a connected account. Any paid offering and its price would be clearly presented before you agree to purchase; this version does not offer a paid subscription.

Content and third-party services

Our application material is provided for personal household planning, subject to any license stated with a download. Source agencies retain rights in their material. Natural Earth map data is public domain. Links to authorities and other services are provided for context; their services and terms are separate.

Australian consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Descriptions of service limitations do not remove those mandatory rights.

Questions and applicable law

Contact support@preparefor.app with service questions or concerns. These terms operate subject to applicable Australian law, including relevant Commonwealth, state and territory laws, and any other mandatory law that applies to you. We encourage you to contact us so concerns can be addressed.

Updates to these terms

We publish revised terms with an updated date and provide notice of material changes where required. A change does not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
